So you you recently made the life changing decision to get yourself a Onewheel. Whether you want to install some visual upgrades or you want to step up your trick game and need to protect your board. The need to purchase and install some of the available upgrades is inevitable. It is time to, Pimp Your Onewheel
Pimp Your Onewheel
Float Plates
One of the first things I added and is said to be the most important upgrade are Float Plates. Made of High-density polyethylene (HDPE) the same material ski hills top their slider boxes with. These plates protect your battery case and controller case from impacts and give you the ability to slide along curbs and boxes. Float Plates were one of the first upgrades I did to my own Onewheel.
Fenders
The acquirement of a Fender is a pretty much no brainer. The debris and spray that kicks up from your tire when riding is never nice. You can opt for the Future Motion Fender but, the sweet, sweet finish of the Craft&Ride Honeycomb Carbon Fiber Fender is just beautiful.
Rail Protection
Another way to pimp out your Onewheel, is to add some sidekicks. These will protect your side rails from the inevitable scratches and dings that come as soon as you start to push your Onewheel game to the next level. This upgrade is highly recommended.
Kick Tails
Next we have, rear pad upgrades like the Onetail+ from Craft&Ride or the COBRA GRIP pad from OWArmor. These skate inspired rear pads give you a locked in feel. The concave in the grip gives a superior rider to board connection. The Onetail+ is by far my favorite upgrade, If I could only have one this would be it.
