7 Common Sense Onewheel Trail Etiquette Tips From The SoFLOW Series

Here are 7 Tips On Onewheel Trail Riding Etiquette.
Trail Etiquette Tip Number 1 – Wear PPE
When you’re racing it’s not a matter of if you’ll fall but a matter of when. Invest in some quality safety gear and cut down on recovery time after those inevitable spills.
This goes for times when you are not racing also.
Trail Etiquette Tip Number 2 – Yield To All Traffic
This includes hikers, bikers and horses. They all get the right away.
Slowing down is a good gesture of respect.
Trail Etiquette Tip Number 3 – Don’t Litter
Pack it in, pack it out! This includes not only food wrappers, but also biodegradable waste such as banana peels, etc.
Cigarette butts are litter, and dog waste and dog waste bags are also litter.
Trail Etiquette Tip Number 4 – Ride With A Buddy
Some of the trails we compete on are in remote areas. Ride with a buddy for safety, but also to push each other!
It’s always more fun to ride with a friend.
Trail Etiquette Tip Number 5 – Don’t Block The Trail
Keep right, except to pass. Don’t stop on the trail.
This one is easy to forget.
Trail Etiquette Tip Number 6 – Be Respectful
Be an ambassador for Onewheel. Remember the community is watching.
Respect is number one.
Trail Etiquette Tip Number 7 – Don’t Ride When It’s Wet
Don’t try to ride around wet spots or in muddy areas.
Report problem areas to your trail maintenance body.
