The Kush Pad, Float Life, CarvePower Collab has been getting huge praise and for good reason. Now I know this review is a little late, and that is because I wanted to get maximum mileage on this Footpad before sharing my opinion. Keep reading to see what I think about this awsome Onewheel Concave Footpad in this Onewheel Kush Pad Review
The Float Life – Onewheel – Kush Pad ReviewÂ
The Float Life Sales and ServiceÂ
First up in my Onewheel Kush Pad Review we should quickly touch on The Float Life’s stellar customer service. After seeing there is no option for international shipping on their website, I sent Jeff a message and he was happy to help to get a new Kush Pad up to me.Â
The Float BoxÂ
At first look, you could be mistaken in thinking you just received a brownie from your local, but no, it’s just the very cool box that The Float Life uses to ship out their Kush Concave Onewheel Footpads.
The Onewheel Kush Pad install
Installation is as easy as you would expect, the Kush pad has two extra attachment screws for additional securement. I am assuming that without these extra screws, the flexible nature of the pad will cause it to lift in the middle, problem solved! Another plus for this urethane design is the threaded inserts are poured into the pad during construction. This means no more spinning insert issues!Â
TFL Gripped With Matching Front Sheet
It is great to see this pad pre-gripped with The Float Life’s house Grip with a matching front sheet thrown in. The Float Life Grip is said to be slightly less aggressive than Vicious Grip. Personally find it is still a little too grippy. (I have noticed myself getting sore knees when riding an abrasive style grip on my OW). This is probably because I have enjoyed some time riding ProRide Traction Pads recently.

Kush ConcaveÂ
While not as noticeable as say the Viper Pad from OWarmor or the Onetail Extreme from Craft&Ride, this Kush Concave still has a very nice amount of Concave. There is a nice pocket for your foot to sit in. Unfortunately though, for me, the FlightFins shaping makes my foot placement a little awkward and I was never as comfortable as when riding the Onetail+, or Onetail Classic. With that being said, the additional control over the stock Footpad is clearly noticeable, and a massive improvement over the stock pad
How Cush Is The Kush?
Straight out of the box you will notice how flexible the Kush Pad is. While it is not soft to the touch like say, the ProRide Traction pad, the urethane makeup helps to soften out your ride. Another thing I like is the soft touchdown when standing your board for storage, also the soft 80a durometer adds a little grip to keep your board from slipping out.
Kush For New Riders?
Even though a Concave Footpad is without a doubt the best and most beneficial accessory you can add to your Onewheel. I feel the best thing new riders can do is get more board time. Once you become more comfortable on the board then get a Concave Footpad to really feel the difference.
Onewheel Kush Pad Review – Will It Float
I have to say that I am impressed with this new Float Kush Concave Footpad from the Float Life and CarvePower. There are so many great Concave Onewheel Footpads out now, and this new option from The Float Life is definitely on that list. If it wasn’t for the OG’s FlightFins contouring, this would be the only footpad I would ever need. Too bad
