With the introduction of this new Gemini Firmware Update. Future Motion has allowed riders to customize their own unique digital shaping to suit their riding style and preferences.

What’s New With The Onewheel Gemini Firmware Update?

First of all, the biggest and most groundbreaking change that comes with Onewheel Gemini Firmware Update is the addition of Custom Shaping. The new Custom Shaping setting, within the Onewheel App, allows users to completely personalize the ride and handling of their board. As well as Custom Shaping, the new update allows riders to share ride stats to their favorite social platform with new Social Sharing.

By using three adjustable Custom Shaping sliders, riders are now in complete control.

There are three Onewheel Custom Shaping parameters that allow you to change your boards ride and feel, and tailor to their specific riding needs.

CARVE ABILITY

Carve Ability, just like the trucks on a skateboard, changes the boards turning and stiffness. Loosen it off for flowing carves or, tighten it up for those high-speed runs. Carve Ability lets you personalize how your Onewheel turns and carves.

STANCE PROFILE

Stance Profile Lets you adjust the ride angle of your board. Lift the nose up when you are tackling steep inclines or drop it down to bomb some super steeps. Now you can choose.

AGGRESSIVENESS

Aggressiveness changes how responsive the board is to rider input. Town your aggressiveness down for a more mellow ride. Crank it up for supercharger like power output!

How To Update Your Onewheel With Gemini Firmware

Onewheel has made it extremely easy to update your firmware to the new Gemini version. With simple step by step in App prompts, you can quickly breeze through the process and be riding your custom settings in no time!

You will know if your Onewheel has a firmware update available as the app will prompt you with this screen.

Getting Ready To Update Your Onewheel To Gemini Firmware

The first step is to place your board on the ground and plug it in. Your phone needs to be close to maintain a good Bluetooth connection. Also, it is suggested you do not multitask. Or use other applications on your phone while the firmware is updating.

Now, when you are ready, press “START UPDATE”

Uploading and writing the firmware update to your Onewheel takes approximately seven minutes. So, be patient and remember to follow all instructions and warnings prompted by the in-app firmware update instructions.
