The Beam Virgo Helmet Review. Finding the perfect helmet can be a daunting task, especially when you’re shopping for multiple family members. I’ve been on the lookout for high-quality full-face helmets for myself and my two kids for quite some time, scouring the internet and local stores. After doing a fair amount of research, I decided to purchase three Beam Virgo Helmets for our family.
I’m thrilled to report that everyone in our crew is riding in style and safety with these sleek helmets!
The Beam Virgo Helmet Review: Safety Meets Style for the Whole Family
Designed for eBike and PEV Use
The Beam Virgo Helmet is expertly designed specifically for eBike and Personal Electric Vehicle (PEV) use. It combines safety and functionality without compromising on style. The full-face design offers comprehensive coverage, while the integrated visor provides protection against the elements, enhancing your riding experience.
Full Face Design With Integrated Visor
One of the standout features of the Beam Virgo is its full-face design with an integrated visor and open ear holes. This design not only provides the protection you’d expect from a full-face helmet, but the open ear holes allow for better sound awareness—an invaluable feature when navigating busy streets.
I must admit that I prefer to ride without the visor, which can be easily removed using the included tool. However, my kids absolutely love having the visor in place, especially on windy days. The ease of visor removal allows you to customize your riding experience based on your personal preference.
Comfort First
In my search for the ideal helmet, comfort was a top priority. I’ve struggled with finding helmets that fit my oddly shaped head well, but the Beam Virgo does the trick beautifully. The adjustable ratchet system is user-friendly, even with gloves on, which ensures a snug and secure fit.
Moreover, the lightweight design makes it far more comfortable than others I have tried in the past. It’s a game-changer, especially when you’re out for long rides with the family.
Exceptional Visibility
Safety is paramount when it comes to riding, and the Beam Virgo design ensures that visibility is never compromised. The helmet features multiple ventilation holes, which provide excellent airflow and make for a wet-free ride. This means you can stay cool while enjoying your adventure, even during those hotter days.
Added Safety Features
Equipped with MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) technology, the Beam Virgo Helmet prioritizes your brain’s safety. This innovative technology reduces rotational forces during an impact, giving you added peace of mind on every ride.

The Beam Virgo Helmet Review – Overall Impressions
In summary, I am extremely happy with my Beam Virgo Helmets! Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the price and the buckle design, the comfort, safety features, and overall aesthetic make it worth the investment. That said, my experience with Beam USA’s customer service was lacking. I reached out to them with a few questions through their email and did not receive a response. It’s disappointing, but it won’t deter me from recommending this helmet to fellow riders.
Overall, I would purchase the Beam Virgo Helmets again without hesitation. They’ve made our family biking experience safer and more enjoyable, and I believe they can do the same for you! Get yours at The Beam Official
