The community has been screaming for it, and Future Motion has answered with the release of the new Onewheel Pint X and the Onewheel GT.
“Uncharted”
“Uncharted” was the tagline for the new Onewheel release event that streamed live on Onewheel’s YouTube Channel at 10 am PST this morning.
Leading up to the event, there was a lot of comments downplaying Future Motions efforts
“I hope it’s not another mat” haha.
What a roller coaster ride! Seeing the comments in the live chat explode with negativity slamming the Pint X. Then to have Onewheel smash them BOOOOM! A+
Past efforts and social negativity aside, Future Motion Onewheel knocked it out of the park.
Onewheel GT
Look At This Beast!
The Onewheel GT is a monster! More range, more torque, concave Footpads front and back, treaded tire and 300% brighter LED headlights. This thing is the epitome of Onewheel.
Onewheel GT – The Specs That Everyone Is Talking About
- Range – 20-32 Mile Range, that’s 32-52 kilometers mean that any range anxiety you may have had is now all but gone! I mean, if you can ride out a full charge in a GT, you should change your name to Superman!
- Top Speed – 20 mph or 32 kph. Even if the hardware could enable a higher top speed. Legally the top speed is maxed out at 20 mph.
- Recharge Time – 200 minutes with the standard charger. 90 with a GT Hypercharger.

Onewheel Pint X
Outside It Looks Very Similar. Inside There Are Big Changes! Extended range, higher top speed, packed into the same form factor pint riders have come to love!
Onewheel Pint X – The Specs That Everyone Is Talking About
- Range – 12 to 18 mile range puts the new PintX on par with the XR in terms of range.
- Top Speed – One of the most disappointing characteristics of the original pint was the lower top speed and aggressive pushback. The new 18 mph top speed leaves those problems behind.
- Recharge Time – 225 minutes with the standard charger. 110 with a Pint Hypercharger.

Will It Float?
While there is no denying that the specs of the new Onewheel GT and Onewheel Pint X are impressive. No doubt the GT will be a monster through all terrain. Personally, I badly want a new GT. But alas, It’s another want vs need situation. Already owning a Pint, a Plus and an XR makes it hard to justify picking up one just yet. I need to sell one of my other Onewheels. Trust me when I say, this was an extremely difficult decision to make and I’m sure this will change once some real-world reviews come out 🤙
